What is Morpheus8 and how does Morpheus8 work?
Morpheus8 is a new and innovative way to treat many skin imperfections, including sagginess of the cheeks, eyes, jawline and neck. It also treats wrinkles and fine lines, acne scars and marks. Patients opt to be treated with Morpheus8 instead of fillers and Botox, because they want to treat their entire face and neck, and many report that treatment with Morpheus8 is a more natural looking alternative. Most patients report overall plumpness of the skin and fewer fine lines. The tissue texture is smoother with smaller-looking pores along with firmer, tighter and lifted skin.
So how does Morpheus8 work? It is a fractional radiofrequency micro-needling treatment. This means it simultaneously delivers both heat and microlesions with the use of microneedles into your skin. The radiofrequency energy is able to penetrate at a deeper level than lasers, and it stimulates collagen production under the top layers of skin to create firmness and a smoother skin texture.
Are there any alternatives to Morpheus8?

With the mildly invasive microneedling treatment combined with radiofrequency technology, Morpheus8 treatments delivers a long-lasting result. How long does the Morpheus8 procedure take and does the procedure hurt?
Treatment of the face and neck takes approximately 90 minutes, which includes the time needed for the topical anesthetic to work. Your comfort is very important to us, so we offer oral sedatives and local anesthetic alternatives, which can be discussed at your consultation appointment. When the patient is comfortable, the treatment begins.
How many Morpheus8 treatments will I need to see results?
While each Morpheus8 treatment is beneficial to the skin, a series of 3 treatments is recommended for optimal results.
What is the recovery time?
Downtime is minimal. On the first day, after treatment, the skin is red and tender, and then fades to a pink color. On days 2-4 the skin is still pink and can be dry in places with a few pin-point bleeding marks. Makeup can be applied after the first day. By day 5, the skin is back to normal. The healing process takes effect and there is remarkable improvement after one month. Three treatments are usually needed a month apart to see the full results of tighter, firmer, lifted skin with a smoother texture.
